~ CARE GROUPS ~
Purpose:
Care Groups are for the application of scripture in our daily lives and the developing of relationships with other
believers, for the purpose of becoming more like Christ, mutual care, fellowship and the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
Sharing:
Each week, we take time for each other, by sharing what is happening in our lives. As we spend time together and
get to know each other, we begin to find the ability to share what our deepest needs are and this allows others to
come along side and bear each others burdens. James 1:22-24 says," Do not merely listen to the word and so
decieve yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who
looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.
Application of Scripture:
Each week we spend time in God's word and then discuss how to make his word a reality in our lives. This is how
we apply God's word to our lives. The goal is to become more like Christ. How about you? Is it your desire to
become more like Christ? Why not come join us?
