Senior Pastor Ron Sargent: [EMAIL: ronsargent@hcbaptist.com]
Ron spent his growing up years in Saco, and is a graduate of Thornton Academy. In 1969 Ron received a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering from the Maine Maritime Academy. The next three years were spent on a merchant ship during the Viet Nam War. In 1970 Ron married Wendy Porter and settled is Hollis where they have lived for over forty years. The Sargents owned and operated Your Country Store from 1979 to 1986. Ron became a Christian in November 1983 and sold his business to attend New England Bible College in 1986. Since graduation at NEBC in 1990, Ron has been a pastor at Hollis Center Baptist Church in Hollis, Maine. In 2005 Ron received a Master of Arts degree in Biblical Counseling from The Master's College in California . In addition to other pastoral duties, Ron oversees the Counseling Ministry at the church in Hollis. Ron & Wendy have two grown children.

John is a Maine native. He comes from Parsonsfield, a small town in the foothills of southwestern Maine. After graduating from Sacopee Valley High School in 1978, He married his childhood sweetheart Pam. They've been blessed with five children and one inherited cat. They've recently moved to the Hollis area and have been serving at HCBC since 2002.

Ari was born and raised in Idaho. He graduated from Valley Christian High School in 1995. Ari attended Word of Life in 1995, Pensacola Christian College in 1996, and then graduated from Tennessee Temple University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Bible. He married Rachelle in 1999, and has been a been involved in Youth Ministry for over 15 years. In 2005, he moved back to Maine were he received the call to be the Youth Pastor at Hollis Center Baptist Church. He now has 3 children, and is adopting a little girl from Haiti.

Cathy grew up in Buxton. She graduated from Bonny Eagle High School in 1977, and from the University of Southern Maine in 1977 with a BA in Early Childhood Education. She married her husband Bill on June 18, 1977. They have one grown son, Will, who teaches 5 th grade in NC. Cathy has worked as our church secretary for the past 26 th years. She is actively involved in many of the ministries here at the church.
