"In the fall of 2004, Bob Foss found a Black Sheep brochure at the Big Moose Harley Davidson dealership in Portland, Maine. After praying, seeking counsel from leaders of the church, and talking with Black Sheep HDFC founder and national President, Marty Edwards, Bob and his wife, Jen, became members in early 2005.   Tom Welt joined in 2007, and two additional couples from area churches have joined since then.  We have had a great time over the last few years getting to know each other and the other members of Southern Maine-Portland Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.).   We meet for breakfast on the 4th Saturday of each month January - November, and recommend you check the Black Sheep events calendar for the current location and time.  These breakfasts will be followed with a group ride weather permitting.

Although the focus of this ministry is primarily aimed toward H.O.G., we will reach out to the needs of any biker.  Our chapter exists to help those with spiritual, physical, or emotional needs.  

Our message is simple:  we want every biker to know before they die ...

1.  There is a God.  He is good.

2.  He loves you very much.

3.  He can and will help you.

4.  There is no hope without him.

5.  We are terminal because of sin.

6.  On the cross Jesus cured you.

7.  You must give your life to Jesus.

8.  To not decide is to decide.

9.  Face Him as fried or judge.

10.Nobody parties in Hell.
