            Understand mission statement and core values.

Take heed to ourselves = church survey.

            Assess strengths, weaknesses and opportunities.

            Brainstorm possible initiatives.

            Select, categorize and prioritize strategic initiatives.

            Communicate strategic initiatives everyone.

            Assign responsibilities.

            Track progress.
